What is a Community Facilitator?

We  believe that the vision for the project and the ideas that are developed should be done in a genuinely collaborative way. We know that there are many groups of local people that we haven’t yet reached in our engagement process, and we value your support in bringing additional voices and perspectives to the project.

Through hosting your own group conversation as a ‘Community Facilitator’ you’ll be helping us gather more information about what really matters to your community when it comes to imagining a future where people and nature are thriving together. The themes that come up in your conversations will help inform the next stages of the project where we start designing these ideas in some more detail.

How do I join?

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to become a Community Facilitator and be part of our co-design team. We’ve created a toolkit to make it easier for you. You can access this toolkit here, or view our ‘Welcome Pack’ below.

We’ll be hosting a welcome workshop for Community Facilitators on Wednesday 7th April at 5.30pm. To register to attend please follow this link.

If you can’t make this workshop but have an interest in becoming a Community Facilitator please complete this expression of interest form and we’ll be in touch.

Please do contact us and tell us what you want to be part of, introduce yourself or request an online meeting. Sian Stacey is the Project Development Officer and her email address is: sian.stacey@summit2sea.wales
